Legacy Rescue & Technical Auditing

In the GovTech ecosystem, not every project is a ‘greenfield’ build. I was brought in to stabilize an existing application (‘Lumen Gestão’) heavily burdened with technical debt. The system suffered from critical race conditions, a monolithic codebase, and an infrastructure ill-suited for strict government data compliance.

Surgical Engineering

• Concurrency Battles: Diagnosed and resolved massive Race Conditions in the Document Chat module. I implemented RxJS Observables and Reactive Patterns to guarantee frontend data consistency over unstable state lines.
• Refactoring: Handled refactoring on monolithic TypeScript blocks and fixed layout responsiveness affecting legacy displays.

Strategic Roadmapping (The Vision)

Conducted a 150+ hour deep-dive technical audit demonstrating mathematically (via ROI & TCO) why the stack was financially unsustainable for the government scale. Designed the entire transition plan from Firebase to Single-Tenant Laravel & Docker clusters with strictly enforced 2FA and Audit Logs required by Law.
